This bowie is 14 inches long overall with an 8.5 inch blade. Blade is 440 stainless steel with black texture coat baked on to minimize reflection. Handle has a rubber skin to maximize grip and a lanyard hole. Sheath is tough nylon with liner, belt loop and retention strap. Can fit on wide belts up to 3 inches. Knife by itself weighs 14.9 oz.
Excellent knife. Takes a sharp edge though chopping will require frequent resharpening. These knives are absolutely tank proof. Would trust my life to this one without hesitation. Seems better than 440 stainless but actual composition unknown. indestructible.
