Streamlight Twin-Task 3C UV LED flashlight is a brand new combination, a super-bright Xenon light (57 lumens) and 6 long-run UV LED's.
The titanium (silver) model has all 6 UV leds calibrated to output 390nM. The black model has 3 leds in the 390nM and 3 leds at 365nM, to provide more usage options.
Some materials (leak detection dyes, etc.) will flouresce better under a shorter wavelength. Uses include counterfeit currency and ID detection, admission stamp illumination, forensic examinations, sanitation examination and much more. Check your manufacturer's specs. With the Twin-Task 3C UV, you choose between 3 modes - 3 UV LED's, 6 UV LED's or Xenon with runtimes of 160 hours, 100 hours and 5 hours, respectively. Streamlight Twin-Task flashlights are durable with an anodized aluminum body, O-ring sealed for water resistance and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. The Twin-Task 3C also features an adjustable focus, a micro-faceted reflector, an enhanced knurled grip and wrist lanyard.
