Do you ship outside the United States?
No. We do not ship outside the USA to help keep our prices the lowest in the industry.

I live in Tennessee. Can I pick up my item?
No. We do not currently have a local retail location and thus do not have local pick-up.

Do you ship pepper spray by 3 day or faster?
No. Pepper spray and any aerosol must be shipped by ground service UPS only. The US Department of Transportation regulates these items.
Of course, due to our central location, over 60% of the USA is within 3 shipping days anyway. That includes Florida (2 days), Texas (2 or 3 days), Illinois, Michigan, etc. Ordering 3 day delivery to these areas will not improve your shipping time.
States neighboring Tennessee get deliveries in 2 business days using standard ground shipping. This includes AR, MO, KY, VA, NC, AL, GA, , FL, MS, LA, KS, OK, Eastern TX, IA, IL, Southern WI, MI, IN, OH, PA, MD, DE, WV and SC.

Do you ship pepper spray, stun guns or knuckles to NY, or other states as shown on the "do not ship" list?
No. Orders for products where there is a list of prohibited states on the product page will be cancelled or the product deleted from the order. We will email you about this. Certain states make it a crime to sell these products and we will not violate state laws. Just because we do ship to other states does not necessarily mean they are legal to use. It is your responsibility to know and understand the laws of the state and municipalities you are located in. No sales to persons under 18 years of age.

Do you accept Returns?
Feel free to return any item that you are not happy to own. To return an item, please email us at admin@defensedevices.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All RMA requests must be made within 30 days post item delivery. Before a credit is issued, the item must be returned and received by us in good condition. We do not refund shipping costs. In addition, all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. All returned items must in original packaging and include all components in good condition.
Some products are not accepted for returns.
There will be no refunds for lock pick equipment, used pepper spray(unless defective), books, videotapes, and bug detection equipment. This includes GPS trackers and stealth or self-contained video cameras. If defective, replacement or repair will be prompt.

My item was damaged by the shipping carrier, how do I get it replaced?
All shipping damage and breakage must be reported to us within 10 days of receipt; claims must be made with carrier. We will act on your behalf with the carrier to expedite your claim. Please contact us by email at admin@defensedevices.com to report any merchandise damaged by shipping carrier. Please include a phone number. It may take 10 days or so before a claim can be decided and a new replacement order shipped.

Do you offer a Warranty?
No, only the manufacturer offers the warranty. Streamlight, Inova, ASP, Streetwise and Fox Labs have excellent warranties. However if you receive an item that is defective, let us know and we will provide assistance.

I received a defective item, how do I get it replaced?
We stand behind each and every product we sell! In the unlikely event that you receive a defective item, please contact us to request a replacement. Replacements for defective products must be requested within 15 days after item delivery. All replacement requests must be made by emailing us at admin@defensedevices.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). A replacement product cannot be issued until the defective item is returned and received. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the defective item.

I am seeing two charges on my card account, did you charge my account twice?
Never in our history (2001) have we charged an account twice. What you are seeing is an "authorization" that occurs when you first place the order online. This is a temporary transaction used to test the account to make sure its valid. We have to manually charge the account in a seperate transaction to actually receive the funds. Both transactions will be visible for a while until your bank reconciles the two transactions. The charge is the only one that will remain after your account cycles. Note: If your order was cancelled, there will not be a second transaction and your bank will remove the "authorization" according to their schedule.
